TABORA, July 6 -- WATER is one of the most essential resources for life, yet in many parts of Tanzania, its availability is becoming increasingly uncertain. Rapid population growth, urban expansion, climate variability and rising demand from agriculture and industry are placing significant pressure on existing water sources.
Although the country is endowed with major rivers, lakes and groundwater systems, access to clean and reliable water remains uneven. In this context, rainwater harvesting presents a practical, affordable and sustainable solution that can significantly strengthen water security across the country.
