Public-Private Partnership strengthens Tanzania's education sector
DAR ES SALAAM, July 26 -- Improving access to quality education extends beyond building schools and recruiting teachers. It also requires adequate learning facilities that allow pupils to study in a safe, comfortable and dignified environment.
Though being addressed by the government and stakeholders, across Tanzania, shortages of classroom furniture remain among the challenges affecting teaching and learning, particularly in fast-growing communities where school enrolment continues to increase.
