DAR ES SALAAM, April 7 -- PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has extended her greetings to Tanzanians on the 54th anniversary of the death of the first President of Zanzibar and Chairman of the Revolutionary Council, Abeid Amani Karume.

President Samia conveyed her message through her Instagram page, joining Tanzanians in commemorating this important historical day.

In her message, she described the late Karume as a courageous leader and a founding father of the Union, emphasizing that he will continue to be remembered for his patriotism, bravery, and significant contribution to maintaining peace, unity, solidarity, and the development of Zanzibar and Tanzania as a whole.
