ARUSHA, April 25 -- PRIME Minister Dr Mwigulu Nchemba has cautioned leaders of Local Government Authorities (LGAs) against engaging in internal wrangles, saying such disputes are undermining grassroots development. Speaking at the Special General Meeting of the Association of Local Authorities of Tanzania (ALAT) held in Arusha recently, the premier stressed the need for unity and cooperation among council leaders.

“Let us fulfil our responsibilities and abandon divisions, as they are not in line with the expectations of our President, Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan,” he said.
