DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 23 -- PRIME Minister Mwigulu Nchemba has urged Tanzanians to continue praying for the nation and upholding peace, saying stability is a critical foundation for implementing development activities.

Dr Mwigulu made the remarks on Sunday, August 23, 2026, when he attended a worship service at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania (ELCT), Eastern and Coastal Diocese (DMP), Kijitonyama Parish, in Dar es Salaam.

He said the world continues to experience changes and disruptions in various areas, stressing the importance of continuing to pray for God to protect Tanzania and enable the country to maintain the peace it currently enjoys.
