SUMBAWANGA, March 10 -- PRIME Minister Mwigulu Nchemba has directed the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau (PCCB) in Rukwa to investigate delays in the construction of Kalambo District Hospital, after it was revealed that two key buildings, including the surgical block and the male ward, remain incomplete despite the government allocating Tsh 4 billion for the project.
The directive was issued today, March 10, 2026, while the Prime Minister was addressing residents of Kasanga Ward. Dr Nchemba stated that contractors had received the funds they requested for the project, yet the construction is still unfinished, and they are now requesting additional funds.
