RORYA, July 3 -- PRIME Minister Mwigulu Nchemba has inspected the Nyathorogo River Bridge in Nyathorogo Village, Rorya District, describing it as a key infrastructure project improving transport and connectivity between Rorya and Tarime districts.

During his working visit to Mara Region today, July 2, 2026, Dr Nchemba received a progress report on the project from Rorya District TARURA Manager Engineer Elifadhili Moses.

According to the report, the bridge was constructed at a cost of 729.2m/-, with works commencing on August 1, 2025 and completing on February 28, 2026.
