DODOMA, Aug. 28 -- PRIME Minister Mwigulu Nchemba has urged Members of Parliament to support and approve the appointment of Deogratius Ndejembi as Vice-President of the United Republic of Tanzania, saying he possesses the qualifications, experience and capacity needed to assist President Samia Suluhu Hassan in carrying out government responsibilities.

Dr Nchemba made the appeal today, August 28, 2026, in Parliament in Dodoma, saying the position of Vice-President requires a leader who is wise, hardworking, understands the government system and has a clear understanding of the needs of the people.
