DAR ES SALAAM, April 29 -- THE Director General of the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau (PCCB), Crispin Chalamila, has called for stronger cooperation among football stakeholders to curb corruption and protect the integrity of the sport in Tanzania.
Speaking on Monday in Dar es Salaam at a stakeholders workshop on tackling corruption in football, Chalamila said corruption remains a major threat that could undermine progress made in the game.
He said the PCCBs mandate covers prevention, public education and investigations, with prevention relying heavily on collaboration with key stakeholders.
