DAR ES SALAAM, April 11 -- PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has been awarded an Honorary Degree by Nasarawa University in Nigeria in recognition of her contribution to leadership, social development, and promoting diplomacy in Africa.

The award was presented online today, April 11, 2026, and President Samia participated in the event while in Tanzania, with the university leaders expressing their admiration for the way she is driving economic, social, and political reforms.
