DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 2 -- THE newly appointed Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) Secretariat members have pledged to strengthen the ruling partys structures, promote unity among members and mobilise support for the governments development agenda.

The new leaders also vowed to uphold fairness, respect the partys constitution and work diligently to justify the confidence placed in them following their appointment by the partys National Executive Committee (NEC).

The commitment was expressed yesterday during their official reception at Lumumba CCM sub-office in Dar es Salaam.
