Ndejembi graces CATA conference, insists on the use of digital technology for tax administration
ARUSHA, Oct. 6 -- VICE President Deogratius Ndejembi said the use of modern technology systems is a key driver of improved tax collection, greater transparency, stronger tax administration and easier tax compliance.
Ndejembi made the remarks in Arusha today, October 6, 2026, while opening the Commonwealth Association of Tax Administrators (CATA) conference, stressing that technology is an important tool for increasing domestic revenue and improving services to taxpayers.
He said the use of technology has become increasingly important in improving revenue collection systems, hence the conferences focus on a theme highlighting the role of technology in tax administration.
