DODOMA, March 12 -- THE National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has launched four nationwide surveys aimed at strengthening data on business activities and improving the countrys investment and economic planning frameworks.
The surveys will help the government, private sector, non-governmental organisations and researchers design programmes to improve the business environment and attract investment, while also updating key economic indicators used to measure the countrys gross output and overall economic production.
Speaking to journalists in Dodoma on Wednesday, Government Statistician General Dr Amina Msengwa said the data collection exercise began on March 11 and is expected to run for two months until May 10, 2026.
