DODOMA, March 26 -- PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has expressed profound sorrow over the death of Minister of State in the Prime Ministers Office (Policy, Parliament, Coordination and Persons with Disabilities), William Lukuvi (71).

She described the late Lukuvi as a courageous, skilled and patriotic leader who made significant contributions to nationbuilding.

According to a statement issued yesterday by Directorate of Presidential Communications, the late Lukuvi, who also served as the Member of Parliament for Isimani Constituency, passed away yesterday morning at Benjamin Mkapa Hospital in Dodoma.
