MWANZA, Aug. 26 -- POLICE in Mwanza region have directed residents participating in community security groups not to take the law into their own hands, but to follow legal procedures while respecting human dignity and rights.

Mwanza Regional Police Commander, Mr Wilbrod Mutafungwa, issued the order today, August the exhibition of 20 years anniversary of community Policing.

He explained that cooperative security is important in strengthening public security and helping the Police Force deal with crime in various areas.
