MTWARA, April 17 -- MTWARA Port has stepped up preparations for Tanzanias landmark liquefied natural gas (LNG) project after hosting a delegation from Norways Equinor, in a visit aimed at assessing the ports readiness to support the major energy investment.
The delegation, led by Equinor representative Noel Cox, together with a representative from the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC), Asiad Mrutu, toured key stakeholders and facilities involved in future logistics operations for the LNG project expected to be implemented in the Lindi and Mtwara regions.
