MTRWARA, March 28 -- OFFICIALS from Mtwara Port have intensified efforts to improve service delivery and strengthen business ties after conducting a working visit to Zanzibar aimed at engaging clients and key stakeholders.

The delegation, led by Port Manager Ferdinand  Nyathi, visited the Zanzibar Ports Corporation, where they were received by Human Resources Director Khamis Salum Abdi.

According to information from the Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA) the goal of the visit was to meet Mtwara Port clients operating in Zanzibar, strengthen existing relationships, gather feedback and recommendations, and discuss operational challenges—particularly those related to service delivery at the southern port.
