MOROGORO, Aug. 23 -- THE Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Culture, Arts and Sports and Government Chief Spokesperson, Gerson Msigwa, has urged Tanzanians not to be concerned about preparations for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), insisting that Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda will remain the host countries for the tournament.

Msigwa said Tanzanias preparations for the continental football tournament were progressing well, urging the public to disregard reports intended to create fear over the possibility of AFCON 2027 being moved from the three East African countries.
