DAR ES SALAAM, June 3 -- THE Medical Stores Department (MSD) is expected to save more than 2.3bn/- annually following the construction of a new state-of-the-art warehouse in Dar es Salaam, eliminating the need to rent private storage facilities for health commodities.

The savings projection was announced after MSD officially handed over the project site and construction permit to Chinas Hainan International Company, which will build the modern warehouse at Keko, near the institutions headquarters.
