ZANZIBAR, June 16 -- STAFF from the Medical Stores Department (MSD) Forecasting Unit have conducted a working visit to the Zanzibar Central Medical Stores Agency (CMSA) to assess how MSD services contribute to the agencys operations and to discuss operational challenges affecting the availability of health commodities for citizens in both Mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar.

Speaking during the visit, CMSA Acting Director General Lulu Sheikh Abdulrahman said the agency highly values its long-standing partnership with MSD, particularly through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that enables CMSA to procure medicines and other health products from MSD.
