MPs ratify green investment pact
DODOMA, Sept. 4 -- THE National Assembly has ratified the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) agreement, paving the way for increased green investment, job creation and access to climate financing.
Presenting the resolution in the House yesterday, Minister of State in the Vice-Presidents Office (Union and Environment), Engineer Hamad Masauni, said Tanzania stands to benefit from expanded access to grants and concessional loans, alongside enhanced capacity to implement climate and environmental projects.
