Morogoro Open set for late August tee-off
DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 2 -- MOROGORO Gymkhana Club is set to host the Morogoro Open Golf Tournament 2026 from August 28 to 30, with the three-day championship expected to attract golfers from across the country for one of the seasons premier amateur events.
According to the clubs Golf Captain, John Kilian, preparations are in top gear to ensure the tournament tees off successfully.
Kilian said the championship will be played in the strokeplay format, with the flagship Division A competition contested over 54 holes, giving elite amateur golfers another opportunity to compete for valuable World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) points.
