DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 11 -- Mixx has won three awards at the 2026 TEHAMA Awards as the growing use of digital financial services expands access to payments, savings, credit and investment in Tanzanias accelerating digital economy.

Mixx won first place in the Mobile Financial Services Innovation category, while its Chief Executive Officer Angelica Pesha received the Female ICT Leadership Award. The company also secured second place in the Digital Business Innovation category.

The awards were presented on August 9, 2026, during a ceremony that brought together stakeholders from Tanzanias information and communications technology and digital services sectors.
