DAR ES SALAAM, May 31 -- THE 16th Excellence in Journalism Awards Tanzania (EJAT 2025), organised by the Media Council of Tanzania (MCT), once again underscored the indispensable role of journalists and media institutions in strengthening democracy, promoting accountability and safeguarding public interest across Tanzania and the wider East African region.
