DODOMA, March 23 -- THE Health Minister, Mohamed Mchengerwa, is expected to flag off a 21km charity half-marathon organized by the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council (TNMC), scheduled to take place on April 4, 2026, in Dodoma City.

Speaking to the media, TNMC Registrar Agnes Mtawa stated that the primary objective of the marathon is to raise funds to strengthen the capacity of nurses, midwives, and other healthcare professionals working in operating theatres.
