TABORA, Sept. 10 -- TABORA Regional Commissioner, Mr Beno Malisa has directed council directors to strengthen revenue collection, seal loopholes that lead to loss of public funds and resolve citizens complaints promptly instead of waiting for visits by senior leaders.

Speaking after officially taking over office from former Regional Commissioner, Mr Paulo Matiko Chacha on Monday, Mr Malisa said the regions progress would depend on accountability, cooperation and effective service delivery at all levels.

“Leaders should set aside time to listen to wananchi and resolve their challenges in their respective areas instead of waiting for visits by leaders,” he said.
