MWANZA, March 6 -- MAGU District Council in Mwanza Region has received 7.2bn/- from the Government for the implementation of various development projects in the 2025/2026 financial year.

Magu District Commissioner, Ms Jubilate Lawuo, stated this recently while submitting a report on the implementation of the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) Election Manifesto for the five-year period 2020–2025, as well as a report on implementation from January to December 2025, to the Magu District Political Committee.

In the health sector, Ms Lawuo said that from January to December 2025 the council has implemented projects worth 1.6bn/-.
