DODOMA, March 4 -- THE Deputy Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Culture, Arts, and Sports, Methusela Ntonda, said the global recognition of Kiswahili Language is among the significant achievements the ministry has recorded for the 2025/26 financial year.
He said the recognition of Kiswahili as one of UNESCOs official languages in November 2025, the designation of Singeli music as part of the World Heritage, and public awareness initiatives on the history of Africas liberation are among the items that marveled Tanzanian art and culture globally.
