DAR ES SALAAM, March 28 -- THE former Tanzanian President, Jakaya Kikwete, has said the death of William Lukuvi has left a significant void in the nation, citing his integrity, diligence and deep patriotism.

Speaking during the farewell of the late leaders body at Karimjee Grounds today, Kikwete described Lukuvi as a hardworking and selfless public servant who executed his duties with honesty and commitment.
