IRINGA, Feb. 24 -- The Member of Parliament for Mufindi South Constituency and Deputy Minister for Transport, David Kihenzile, has inaugurated the Makungu Ward Health Centre in Mufindi District Council, Iringa, constructed at a cost of 500m/-.

The launch of the facility is described as a lasting solution for more than 17,000 residents of Makungu Ward and neighboring areas who were previously forced to travel long distances to access healthcare services, particularly maternal health services for pregnant women.

Kihenzile inaugurated the health centre during his four-day tour of the constituency aimed at inspecting development projects and addressing residents through public meetings.
