DAR ES SALAAM, April 23 -- THE leadership of the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre (KCMC) has called on citizens both within and outside the country to continue supporting efforts to construct a major cardiac care center.

Speaking during the signing ceremony of a fundraising agreement between KCMC and telecommunications company Halotel, the hospitals Chief Executive Officer, Professor Gilead Masenga, said the partnership is intended to strengthen resource mobilization for completing the facility, whose construction has reached 40 percent.

He noted that the agreement will facilitate the launch of a national fundraising campaign aimed at securing the funds needed to complete the modern cardiovascular treatment center.
