DAR ES SALAAM, June 23 -- TANZANIA Football Federation (TFF) president Wallace Karia has called on newly promoted sides Geita Gold FC and Kagera Sugar FC to strengthen their squads and invest in infrastructure as they prepare for the 2026/27 Mainland Premier League season.

Karia said the step is necessary for the clubs to remain competitive at the top level while also improving the matchday experience for supporters. He noted that longterm investment off the pitch is as important as performance on it.

“The league has had a good season with fewer challenges, but there is still work to be done. I commend Geita Gold and Kagera Sugar for earning promotion,” said Karia.
