KAGERA, March 18 -- KAGERA residents have paid tributes to the, describing him as a courageous leader who dedicated most of his life to the welfare of the majority poor.

In an interview with the ‘Daily News, residents said President Magufulis legacy will endure for many years.

Kagera Regional CCM Chairman, Dr Nazir Karamagi, said the late president will be remembered for his efforts in strengthening social services, including the construction of the Busisi Bridge, the MV Mwanza Hapa Kazi Tu steamer and the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR).
