DAR ES SALAAM, Sept. 29 -- JAN International has said its operations in Tanzania have contributed to the countrys economy through employment creation, government revenue and supporting businesses linked to the motor vehicle sector.

Jan International Managing Director, Ally Akbar, said the company currently employs more than 100 workers, creating employment opportunities in areas including vehicle sales, customer care and other operations.

He said the companys activities also contribute to government revenue through compliance with taxes and other regulatory requirements governing the motor vehicle business.
