DODOMA, April 9 -- KISARAWE Member of Parliament, Selemani Jafo, has proposed the establishment of a special short-term employment program for youth, aimed at addressing the challenge of unemployment among graduates in the country.
Speaking during a parliamentary debate in Dodoma on April 9, 2026, Jafo suggested that the government introduce an annual program to employ 50,000 young people, targeting two categories of graduates those with diplomas and those with university degrees.
