ARUSHA, April 18 -- TANZANIA is poised to benefit from a range of opportunities, including the promotion of its tourism sector, trade and investment, as global legislators are expected to convene in the country for the 153rd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU). International lawmakers will gather in Arusha from October 5 to 9 this year to deliberate on various global agendas.

Arusha Regional Commissioner, Mr Amos Makalla, said yesterday that the upcoming event is expected to attract a large number of parliamentarians, offering a valuable platform to showcase Tanzanias tourist attractions, as well as business and investment opportunities.
