DODOMA, April 3 -- TANZANIAN Members of Parliament representing the country in the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) have been urged to ensure their participation aligns with the principles of the 2001 Foreign Policy, 2024 Edition, to safeguard and advance the countrys broader national interests on the global stage.
The call was made on April 2, 2026, at the Parliament Offices in Dodoma during a joint session between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation and the legislators. The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Daniel Sillo.
