DAR ES SALAAM, Sept. 2 -- THE government of India says it is exploring opportunities to increase the volume of agricultural products from Tanzania entering the Indian market, with the aim of improving quality, boosting exports and creating more employment opportunities in Tanzania.

High Commissioner of India to the United Republic of Tanzania, Bishwadip Dey, made the remarks today, September 2, 2026, during the 10th International Africa Agriculture Exhibition held at the Sabasaba Grounds in Dar es Salaam.

The exhibition has brought together stakeholders from across the agricultural sector, with more than 1,000 companies participating to showcase their products, technologies and services.
