Home Affairs Ministry trains its staff on the appropriate use of clean cooking energy
DAR ES SALAAM, June 27 -- STAFF members of the Ministry of Home Affairs have received education on the use of clean cooking energy through training provided by experts from the Ministry of Energy, as part of national efforts to promote the adoption of clean cooking solutions.
The training aims to contribute to the national target of ensuring that 80 percent of Tanzanians use clean cooking energy by 2034.
Participants from various departments and units within the Ministry of Home Affairs took part in the sessions, where they gained an understanding of different types of clean cooking energy and their benefits in protecting public health, conserving the environment, and promoting social and economic development.
