IRINGA, May 30 -- THE Deputy Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries, Dr Fabian Madele, has called on stakeholders in Tanzanias dairy industry to strengthen collaboration in order to improve productivity in milk production, processing, and marketing, ultimately increasing farmers incomes and contributing to national economic growth.

Dr Madele made the remarks during his visit to the Heifer International Tanzania exhibition booth at the ongoing National Milk Week celebrations in Iringa Region.

During the visit, he learned about Heifer Tanzanias partnership with the government and other stakeholders in addressing hunger and poverty through improved dairy farming practices and sustainable livestock development.
