MAPUTO, April 2 -- The Tanzanian Ambassador to Mozambique, Hamad Hamad, met with the Swiss Ambassador, Nicolas Randin, at the Tanzanian Embassy in Maputo to strengthen diplomatic relations between the two countries.

During the discussions, Ambassador Hamad formally welcomed Ambassador Randin and congratulated him on assuming his new role, emphasizing the importance of enhancing cooperation across various development sectors and leveraging Tanzanias available economic opportunities.

On his part, Ambassador Randin expressed appreciation for the warm reception and outlined Switzerlands priorities in supporting development initiatives across African countries, particularly within the Southern African region.
