SIMIYU, Sept. 15 -- PRIME Minister Mwigulu Nchemba has directed the Prime Ministers Office-Regional Administration and Local Government (PMO-RALG) to prioritise completing unfinished school buildings across the country before constructing new classrooms.

The Premier issued the directive during his working visit to Simiyu Region yesterday as the government prepares for double cohorts of pupils to transition to secondary school in 2028, saying existing structures should be completed first to determine the actual number of additional classrooms needed.
