MANYARA, July 24 -- THE government has pledged to resolve challenges surrounding the Ngano Limited wheat farm investment in Hanang district, paving the way for the 43,000-hectare project to boost wheat production, create jobs and drive economic growth.

Deputy Minister in the Presidents Office for Planning and Investment, Dr Pius Chaya, made the commitment during a working visit to the farm to assess the progress of the agricultural investment.

Dr Chaya explained that the government was implementing President Samia Suluhu Hassans directive to ensure that the dispute between the investor and local residents is resolved fairly while protecting the interests of all parties.
