DODOMA, April 14 -- TANZANIAS preparations for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations are on schedule, with the government reaffirming its commitment to co-hosting the tournament and dismissing speculation of delays.

The Minister for Information, Arts, Culture and Sports Paul Makonda said planning remains aligned with timelines agreed with Confederation of African Football, as Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya prepare to jointly stage the competition — the first time the finals will be hosted by three nations.
