DODOMA, May 1 -- THE Ministry of Information and Communication Technology has outlined plans to implement eight development projects in the next financial year aimed at improving access to communication services and enhancing the use of ICT in the country.
Minister for Information and Communication Technology, Angellah Kairuki, told the National Assembly yesterday that the projects are part of government efforts to build a digital economy driven by ICT.
Ms Kairuki was presenting a 222.6bn/- budget estimates for the 2026/27 financial year for the implementation of the Ministrys responsibilities.
