Government allocates 3.5bn/- to modernise Kongwa offices
KONGWA, July 29 -- THE government has allocated 3.5bn/- to replace Kongwa Districts more than 80-yearold colonial-era administrative offices with a modern District Commissioners Office, aimed at improving public service delivery. The project will replace offices built in 1947, which have served the district since the colonial era.
Inspecting the projects progress during her two-day working tour of Dodoma Region recently, Minister for Communication and Information Technology Angellah Kairuki said the government had invested in the new facility to provide wananchi with services in a modern, safe and conducive environment.
