DAR ES SALAAM, March 28 -- TAIFA Stars Head Coach Miguel Gamondi (pictured) expressed frustration after his teams 1-0 defeat to Liechtenstein in the FIFA Series 2026 clash at Kigali Pelé Stadium on Thursday.

Despite dominating possession and creating several chances, Tanzania failed to convert their opportunities. Gamondi noted that the team produced multiple clear chances and should have scored at least twice, stressing that improving efficiency in front of goal is now a priority.

“We dominated the match and created many chances, yet we failed to capitalise. I counted at least four clear opportunities that we missed; we should have scored at least two goals,” he admitted.
