DAR ES SALAAM, Sept. 8 -- FOUR people have been killed and others injured in a road accident involving a bus and a car in the Bunju Sokoni area of Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam.

The accident occurred on September 7, 2026, at around 7:40 p.m. after a Yutong bus, registration number T 235 EMJ, owned by Abood Company, collided with a Toyota IST, registration number T 274 ERU.

According to a statement issued by the Tanzania Police Force, the bus was being driven by Christian Steven Shemuhilu, 38, and was travelling from Tegeta towards Bunju.

The Toyota IST, meanwhile, was travelling towards the Tanga region.
