GEITA, March 6 -- THE Fire and Rescue Force in Geita Region has prohibited unauthorised trading, transportation and supply of gas cylinders and fuel without special permits from the relevant authorities.

Acting Regional Fire and Rescue Commander, Mr Keneth Mwakasitu, issued the warning recently while speaking to journalists in Geita Town.

He stated that it is strictly forbidden for anyone to transport gas cylinders without proper authorisation and procedures, whether for domestic or commercial use, as they are hazardous materials that require strict safety measures.
