DAR ES SALAAM, May 11 -- THE Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Tanzania and the East African Community (EAC), together with the diplomatic missions of EU Member States, celebrated Europe Day 2026 in Dar es Salaam on Thursday last week.

The event highlighted the regional blocs continued contribution to strengthening Tanzanias private sector through support to entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainable business growth.

Minister for Industry and Trade, Ms Judith Kapinga, was the guest of honour in the event that drew Ambassadors from around the world, senior government officials, private sector representatives, innovators, civil society, media and members of the diplomatic community.
